Prospect Buddy is a chatbot specifically utilized in advertising campaigns. When users interact with chatbot ads, such as click-to-Messenger ads on Facebook or other platforms, the Prospect Buddy conversationally engages with them. It can provide product information, answer questions, and collect leads within the messaging platform. This approach combines the benefits of chatbot interaction with the reach and targeting capabilities of advertising to capture leads.
Chatty McChatFace (Website Chatbot)
Chatty McChatFace is a chatbot implemented on a website. It serves as a virtual assistant or customer support agent, interacting with website visitors and capturing leads. Getting the chatbot to engage your audience is one thing. Still, you can significantly enhance your chances of converting your audience into leads or customers when you interact with people authentically and begin nurturing them right away.

Use personalized messages, recommendations, and offers based on their preferences and past interactions when possible. - Just yesterday, I was engaging with a chatbot on Hootsuite’s website. The chatbot asked me key questions to help guide me to get the answers I was looking for.
- Timely and Relevant Follow-ups: Implement a well-designed follow-up sequence to engage leads. Send timely and relevant messages based on their interaction histories or specific triggers, such as abandoned carts, actions on your website, or even clicking links you’ve provided. By providing valuable information or offers at the right moment, you can nurture leads effectively and move them further down the conversion funnel.
- I have purchased “Skinny Syrups” from a company that uses chatbots to dive deeper into getting to know my preferences. The first time I made a purchase with them they used a chatbot to re-engage me to make my purchase (through an abandoned cart campaign). Once I made the first purchase, they delivered my receipt through the chatbot. And then they also used the chatbot to check in with me to see if I was enjoying the syrups once my order was delivered.
Could they have done this through email? Sure. And they did send some emails. But, I made my initial purchase through a Facebook ad, so it made sense that they would follow up with me there in Messenger.
- Two-Way Communication: Chatbots encourage interactive conversations. If you are of the mindset that chatbots aren’t personal, that’s not entirely true! When you set up your chatbot, you should do so from the viewpoint as if you were talking to one person. Craft your communication and prompts in a way that would emulate how you (or your brand) would engage with someone.

You can offer resources such as ebooks, whitepapers, invites to webinars, or blog articles that align with your audience’s interests.
